To understand how our technology works let’s first remember some basic facts about water. Water is sometimes referred to as the “universal solvent”. This term is used as water has unique characteristics that allow it to break the bonds of larger more complex compounds. For example, place a small teaspoon of sugar or salt in a glass of water, stir vigorously and it will dissolve easily.

Although the water in your industries & homes is clear, it is not pure. Being a wonderful solvent, water is very receptive and dissolves small amounts of the soluble minerals it comes into contact with in nature. Water contains elements essential for healthy living, including calcium and magnesium.

Hardness In Water :

Hardness in water is caused by Calcium and Magnesium. Conventional water softeners remove the essential Calcium and Magnesium macro minerals from the water supply, by replacing them with Sodium. One of the benefits of the solutions provided by our equipment Instant Clean Innovative Water Converter (ICIWC) (swachh paani) is that they do not remove these essential macro minerals.

Calcium Carbonate :

As we all know H2O can exist in various forms; Ice, Water and Steam. Just as water can exist inVarious forms so can Calcium Carbonate.

Magnesium :

While contributing to water hardness, Magnesium does not deposit as scale.

The Three Forms Of Calcium Carbonate Are :

CALCITE

Under certain circumstances (temperature rise or an increase in pH levels), water is forced to discharge Calcium Carbonate. The Calcium Carbonate discharged in this way is Calcite, a hard scale. The discharge will accumulate on the nearest receptive surface, typically metallic.

ARAGONITE

Aragonite is a form of Calcium Carbonate crystal that, unlike Calcite, prefers to stick to itself and grow attracting more Calcium. It remains suspended in water rather than depositing on metal surfaces.

VAT RITE

Vat rite is not found in natural water.

The Science Behind Our Technology

The Instant Clean innovative water converter (ICIWC) (Swachh Paani) is a non-chemical water treatment system. It is operating effectively in preventing hard scale build-up in several thousand heat exchange plants boilers & condensers chilling plants. This article describes the reasons for scale formation from hard waters and examines some recent research into the way the Nano Catalytic Instant Water Converter (NCIWC) (swachh paani) modifies the scaling behavior of calcium carbonate. This research has provided clear, scientific evidence that the system has a significant effect on scale formation conditions in hard waters. The combination of field experience and basic scientific research programs is generating more confidence in preventing scale ‘physically” rather than using chemical water-treatment systems.

TURBULENCE

A unique concept of creating artificial turbulence in the flow through ICIWC (swachh paani) the water molecules along with dissolved solids gets broken from 6000 microns to 2 microns. The above reaction is self-explanatory for the impurities dissolved or suspended in water. This reduces the cohesiveness of the bondage between water molecules to water molecules and by reducing adhesion the bondage between water molecules and other compound molecules gets separated.

SCALING AND ITS CAUSES

Water is a very good solvent for minerals and many other materials. Natural waters are essentially “ionic soups”. All of the ionic species are trying to keep in a thermodynamic equilibrium with their environment, and they achieve this by combining together in clusters – perhaps growing to form crystals – or by breaking up into free ions. All of these reactions are occurring all the time as local conditions change.

Forming part of this “soup” are the ions calcium and carbonate, and they can form calcium carbonate – the principle scaling salt found in hard waters. We need to understand the equilibrium of these species in water, and in doing so we will know whether scaling can occur, or not. If we can, in some way, change the equilibrium with ICIWC (swachh paani), we can modify the scaling behavior of hard water.

The equilibrium solubility product for calcium carbonate is a thermodynamically defined value for a given pressure and temperature. It is the concentrations of calcium and carbonate free ions in equilibrium with a large crystal of calcium carbonate suspended in water. Equation (1) is the standard way of showing this equilibrium.

EQUATION

[Ca ++ [CO3] -> [CaCO3]

It is this equilibrium point that all waters will try and reach either by crystal growth or dissolution. At this equilibrium point, the crystal will be growing and dissolving at the same rate.

PROBLEMS WITH BIO FILM

After the slime layer forms, a veritable micro-ecology can flourish. The slime layer helps trap additional organic particles that many bacteria can use for food and energy. Other microorganisms including viruses, protozoa, algae, fungi, and eliminates may become associated with or entrained within the bio film. Some Protozoa graze on bio film bacteria creating a food web. Bio film thickness is variable but is usually in the range of 50 to 100 microns. As the thickness increases, pieces of Bio films can shear off, allowing for colonization of downstream sections of the System.

Bio films can form on just about any imaginable surface: metals, plastics, natural materials (such as rocks), medical implants, kitchen counters, contact lenses, the walls of a hot tub or swimming pool (did you ever notice that the sides of a hot tub or swimming pool seemed slightly slimy?), human and animal tissue, and on and on. Indeed, wherever the combination of moisture, nutrients, and a surface exists, bio films will likely be found as well.

BIO FILM REMOVAL

Bio Film formation can be effectively removed in the water used from our Equipment, the Instant Clean Innovative Water Converter (swachh paani).

Even though you may not be familiar with the term bio film, you have certainly encountered bio films on a regular basis. For example, the plaque that forms on your teeth and causes tooth decay is one type of bacterial bio film. The “gunk” that clogs your household drains is also a bio film. If you have ever walked in a stream or river, you may have slipped on rocks that were slimy with bio film. And so it goes: bio films—they’re where you want to be.

Fortunately or unfortunately the surface tension of water in liquid state is very high, and due to the same all the dissolved compounds in water along with Algae and Bacteria reaches on the top surface of the water. Due to the electrical charge that is being given at 4 Volts and 5-10 Millie Amps of Power , kills the bacteria and Algae and also disseminates the bondage of dissolved compounds and gets them weekend, subsequently their effect in the process gets nullified.
